Folksongs from France - Score by Lilienfeld. For Flute, 2 violins, Cello and 2 Clarinets. Miscellaneous Music. Score. Published by Pan Verlag (MM.PAN1103).
These arrangements - written in variable instrumentations - are meant for school and amateur orchestras. The music in this volume is not very difficult to play, though more technical skill is wanted from the bassoon in "Chevaliers".If youhave no double bass, one cello has to play the lower part where the bass line is divided (even if there is only one cello). All viola parts are available as violin I II. CONTENTS: Ah, vous dirai-je, Maman?, very famous nursery song, used by many composers as a theme for variations. Chevaliers de la Table ronde: A merry drinking song. Le bon Roi Dagobert: Good King Dagobert and his minister Saint Eloi (the song is about both of them) really existed. But whether the monarch really had his trousers on the wrong way - as put forward in the song - is not confirmed by history. 16 page score.
Song(s) in this release:
