Vanilla Fudge, one of the best selling album rock acts of the late sixties, was also one of its most influential. Vanilla Fudge's trademark stoned-sounding and dramatically slowed down treatments of well-known pop songs, embellished with piercing organ sounds and gospel harmonies, were unique and psychedelic.
