The flamboyant Carillon Festivo was written in 1999 as a recessional voluntary for the wedding of my publisher Andrew Skirrow and his wife, Lucy. Carillon da Festa was written two years later in celebration of a special birthday for my good friend Deborah Venner and is based on the tune "Happy Birthday".
A recording of Two Festive Carillons is available on the Herald label (released Autumn 2012) under the title Moody Moves (HAVPCD380) played on the organ of Brentwood Cathedral by Stuart Nicholson, Organist and Master of the Choristers at St Patrick's Cathedral, Dublin.

Written in the French organ/ toccata style (in the style of Mulet's Thou Art the Rock), this is a joyful setting of a popular Christmas classic. This challenging and rewarding selection is a showstopper for a Christmas organ concert, or a wonderful postlude for Christmas Eve services. New product for the week of October 1st, 2012.

This delightful set of practical miniature arrangements of hymn tunes for organ is useful throughout the church year and is accessible to the average church organist.
These short pieces not only enhance church services, but also prove invaluable to the church musician looking for something fresh to use during services. The styles of miniatures, which last anywhere from 30 seconds to a minute in duration, are sufficiently varied to maintain interest: some settings are meditative, while others are fanfares, and they can be used during various parts of the service.
The book includes a preface that discusses practical usage of the miniatures, citing some examples from te Velde's own experience. It also includes a liturgical index and an index of first lines for the convenience of the organist.

This volume contains all 71 of the German composer's works for organ, including 25 toccatas, 8 fantasias, 6 canzonas, 18 capriccios, and 14 ricercares. The music recalls Froberger's teacher, the Italian composer Girolamo Frescobaldi, offering grand visions of the late Baroque. Since the scores do not include pedal indications, they are also appropriate for the piano or harpsichord.
