He was awarded both a music degree from the University Of Wales and a PGCE from Manchester since he has taught music in secondary schools for many years. Roy also teaches the Flute privately and conducts various ensembles, choirs and orchestras in North Yorkshire where he now lives.Although his musical training has been formal, he has also played the Electric Guitar since the age of 16, and played in several rock and blues bands over the years.
