(Level III) This chart provides the lead alto with a strong melody accompanied by an easy-going samba groove. Aside from the demands placed on the soloist, who has to read changes and maintain the center focus for nearly the entire chart, the rest of the band should find no unusual difficulties. Lead trumpet never exceeds high B, though Harmon mutes and flugelhorns are highly recommended.
