(Level IV) A medium, up-tempo waltz for six a cappella voices. The low note for bass is an F, and the high note for soprano is an F (1 and 1/2 octaves above middle C). The mood of the piece is bright and swinging, with the bass voice going in and out of a walking feel. The upper voices deliver the richly harmonized melody with a playful rhythmic feel. There are short solos for soprano and tenor and one 16-bar scat solo. The piece is two full choruses in length, with a brief intro and tag ending. It is of medium difficulty. SSATTB.

An a cappella introduction leads into a ECM-ish, floaty head with piano coloring the texture. The most prominent musical motif involves low voiced chords in the piano and eventually in the voices. A powerful and progressive work that fits on the program of any group searching for something out of the ordinary. SSATBB with rhythm.

Recorded in 1962 and featured on the record 'Sammy Davis, Jr. Sings What Kind of Fool am I and Other Show Stoppers,' this Marty Paich arrangement is simple but swinging. There are 8-bar solos for alto saxophone and trumpet 2 (chord changes have been included for improvisation). There was no guitar or piano in the original recording; however, optional parts have been included for both instruments. The vocal begins in C and modulates to E flat towards the end. There are no saxophone doubles.
