The instruction material on this lesson is very basic and is strictly for beginners. Cox explains basic right-hand technique and how to use the Stevens steel properly. He then goes onto demonstrate hammer-ons and pull-offs. Nothing fancy, just concise and accurate information. Mr. Cox covers a lot of information that may seem obvious to someone who has played a musical instrument before; however, this same information presented to a novice can mean the difference between total frustration and an enjoyable musical experience.
