Where I Belong (Orchestra Parts and Conductor's Score, CD-Rom) arranged by Daniel Semsen. For SATB choir. Contemporary. Moderate. Orchestration & conductor's score CD-ROM. Published by Brentwood-Benson Music Publishing (BN.4575721958). This powerful new anthem originally recorded by Christian artist Building 429, has been a huge Christian radio song, but sings very well with this dynamic arrangement & orchestration from Daniel Semsen. This song reminds us that this earthly home is just temporary and when the worldly storms of life come our way, we have a blessed assurance that this is just temporary, and that one day we will be with Christ where we belong.

Stubernic Fantasy for Orchestra by Mark Ford. For marimba with orchestra (Solo Marimba (3 players), Piccolo, 2 Flute, Oboe, English Horn, Eb Clarinet, 2 Bb Clarinet, Bb Bass Clarinet, 2 Bassoon, Contrabassoon, 2 F Horn, 2 C Trumpet, 2 Trombone, Tuba, Timpani, 5 Percussion, and Full Strings). Level 5. Score and set of parts. Published by Innovative Percussion (IP.E-MF-SFO). Composer's Notes: Stubernic Fantasy is based on my marimba trios Stubernic and its sequel, Afta-Stuba. After the premiere of Afta-Stuba in 2000, Eugene Corporon congratulated me and said, "Now write me a wind ensemble work like that!" At the time I did not think that it was feasible. But I was awarded a University of North Texas Faculty Fellowship in 2011 to write such a composition and I have loved every minute! Regarding the music, this concerto is available in both orchestral and wind ensemble versions. I tried to leave the original marimba parts untouched but there are a few isolated moments where minor changes were necessary.

Hip Hop Hallelujah! (score & parts) (with apologies to Handel). By George Frideric Handel (1685-1759). Arranged by E. Kiefer. Flute Oboe (optional) Bb Clarinet 1 Bb Clarinet 2 Bb Bass Clarinet Eb Alto Saxophone Bb Tenor Saxophone Eb Baritone Saxophone Bassoon (optional) Trumpet in Bb 1 Trumpet in Bb 2 F Horn Trombone Euphonium (B.C.) Baritone (T.C.) Tuba Timpani (2 drums) Percus. Classics: Remixed. Grade 1. Score & parts. Duration 2:30. Published by C. Alan Publications (CN.18900). Complete with record scratching, guttural bass lines, and undeniable hip hop swagger, Kiefer's arrangement of Handel's most famous masterwork comes to life in a fresh and exciting way. It is playable with or without the accompaniment, but why would you want to deny yourself of so much fun?!When writing this series, I wanted to created a bridge between what young band students hear every day on the radio, TV, & movies with other types of music that they may not be familiar. I also wanted to make sure the students and their audiences have fun! This is not a new idea. We have added rock/disco beats and jazz swing to Bach and Beethoven before. This series is simply an updated version, infusing good classical music with hip hop, funk, and more. With each arrangement comes a CD (or you can download the mp3 track from the C. Alan Publications website) with an engaging drum 'n' bass beat that complements the arrangements, varying as the pieces progresses, yet remaining simple enough to make it easy to play along. The band will have a blast playing along to a booming bass while learning important classical melodies. The arrangements are easy and well within the reach of younger players. They may also be performed without the recorded track, but it's much more fun with it! As a middle school band director, I was always looking for fun ways to introduce my students to all kinds of music. I was also looking for a fun way to keep students engaged and help them realize the commonalities between their pop music and other styles. This series will help you with these objectives. Most of all, have fun! - Ed Kiefer.

The percussion lay down a groove for this work with solo voice that can also stand alone as a great ensemble work.Text by M.B. Hanrahan Invitation stands. Driven to a foreign land and dropped from the sky, through a hole in your open hand. Remembering when carrying on in school I was driving the line on company time I didn't have a clue. Innocent my frend (especially when I could do it again). No match from memories, and stares that catch me unawares. So casually we seek the ultimate rush-I want to relax! Suddenly-gasp! At the door in a flash the clue. There's nothing for me to do, nothing for me to do. Invitations land, dropped from the sky again, my sight's aligned at long last. It's Destiny, Gasp! There's nothing for you to do. Nothing for you to do. Play it to my heart and act as if convinced it's all you ever ever ever wanted to do. Full moon says she's ready now to drip all over you. In a flash the clue, I'm convinced, it's true, all you ever ever ever wanted to do. Ever wanted to do. Ever wanted to do.

Image for Percussion Orchestra (score & parts). (Burladingen beim ersten Schneefall ("Burladingen upon the first snowfall")). By Martin Blessinger. Percussion Ensemble. For Percussion Ensemble (Percussion 1 (Xylophone, Bells, Crotales, Chimes, Waterphone [or Bowed China Cymbal], Mark Tree, 2 Suspended Cymbals, Crash Cymbals) Percussion 2 (Vibraphone) Percussion 3 (Vibraphone, Crotales, Temple Blocks) Percussion 4 (4-oct Marimba) Percussion 5 (4-). Medium. Score & parts. Duration 9:50. Published by C. Alan Publications (CN.18520). Commissioned by the Brian A. West TCU Percussion Orchestra for their performance at the Percussive Arts Society International Convention, Image for Percussion Orchestra paints a picture of the first snowfall in the lovely little German town of Burladingen. Blessinger draws from an expansive palette of percussive colors.Burladingen is a small, lovely town in the Swabian region of southern Germany where my maternal grandmother was born. Though I never had the chance to meet her, I've spent many summers in the Schwoabalundle coming to know her through my wonderful family there. The sights, sounds, and smells of June in the Swabian Alps are quite familiar, but winter in this region has always remained a mystery to me. Much in the way I have experienced my grandmother, winter in Burladingen has been revealed only through many beautiful pictures, but never lived in person. It is these images-numinous, ethereal, and wonderful-that inspired both the subtitle (-Burladingen upon the first snowfall-) and the musical content. It is my hope that this piece might be experienced as a journey, both personal and physical, into an unknown and beautiful territory. It is dedicated to my grandmother, as well as my family in Burladingen, which has welcomed my return each summer with unfailing generosity and love. This piece was composed for Brian A. West and the TCU Percussion Orchestra.
